We are on the road again! It’s been a long awaited vacation, and we’re taking 2 weeks to travel up to Ohio for our family reunion, in the RV. And then back again. Our first stop, is at a West Memphis campground called Tom Sawyers RV Park. Aptly named as it sits right on the Mississippi River.
This time though, I am trying something new. I set the alarm, even though it is vacation. My intention: to get up and get painting. This morning, the sun rise over the river did not disappoint!
It was so moist out there that my camera lense fogged up! It was 75 degrees, but so damp outside that I should have grabbed a sweater to cover my arms.
So beautiful! and I caught an early morning dragonfly in this shot, or maybe it is a fairy?
It was great to get started on some painting, and once the kids woke up, they joined in the fun!
